Social and Environmental Responsibility

The form of responsibility of Social Security Agency for Employment to build a better quality of life, which is carried out transparently and ethically, as the contribution of Social Security Agency for Employment to sustainable development and improvement of community welfare by paying attention to Stakeholders, as well as complying with regulations and norms that apply both within the scope of national and international.

Purpose of TJSL

a To promote the fulfilment of the basic needs of the Community and Participants

b To improve the welfare of the Community and Participants

c To strive actively in the preservation and improvement of the environment; and

d To create a harmonious relationship with Stakeholders

Target of Social Security Agency for Employment TJSL Program

  • aTo support increased participation in the Social Security Agency for Employment Program
  • bTo improve public relations, Participants and between institutions; and/or
  • cTo improve the image and reputation of Social Security Agency for Employment
  • TJSL Program Criteria

  • aAccurate, namely the TJSL Program assistance is given to people who are suffering from difficulties and/or in need
  • bUseful, namely the provision of TJSL Program assistance has an impact on improving the welfare and independence of the community
  • cTo improve the Reputation of Social Security Agency for Employment, namely the provision of TJSL Program assistance which has an impact on increasing the Brand Awareness of the Reputation of Social Security Agency for Employment; and
  • dTo support the strategic objectives of Social Security Agency for Employment, namely the provision of TJSL Program assistance which is in line with the Vision and Mission of Social Security Agency for Employment and to support the government programs.
  • 4 (four) Pillars of CSR Program

  • aCommunity Bridge, namely TJSL Program which aims to meet the needs of the public, which consists of:
    • 1Public facilities;
    • 2Facilities and assistance for religious activities; and
    • 3Assistance with facilities related to the government in serving the public.
  • bEmpowerment Bridge, namely TJSL Program which aims to increase the ability to do business so that it is more productive, which consists of:
    • 1Assistance with improvement of business facilities;
    • 2Assistance with skills improvement training; and
    • 3Assistance with occupational health and safety training
  • cConcern Bridge, namely TJSL Program which aims to help people who are suffering from difficulties and in need, consisting of:
    • 1Assistance to disaster victims:
    • 2Assistance to persons with disabilities
    • 3Assistance for homecoming activities;
    • 4Assistance for basic needs;
    • 5Assistance in the field of education; and
    • 6Assistance in the health sector.
  • dSustainability Bridge, namely TJSL Program which aims to support environmental sustainability, which consists of:
    • 1Assistance with tree planting;
    • 2Assistance for green open space;
    • 3Assistance for flora and fauna conservation; and
    • 4Assistance for environmental care activities
  • TJSL programs cannot be awarded for the following:

  • aActivities related to practical politics
  • bPrograms that have been funded by State/ Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget
  • cActivities/assistance related to the operational activities of government institutions; and/or having a business relationship with Social Security Agency for Employment
  • Summary of TJSL Activities

    In order to realize a better quality of life and community welfare, Social Security Agency for Employment through the Social and Environmental Security program of Social Security Agency for Employment transparently and ethically implements the 4 Pillars of Social and Environmental Responsibility, namely the Community Bridge, Empowerment Bridge, Concern Bridge and Sustainability Bridge.

    In 2018, the Social Responsibility Program organized various activities, such as the Organizing of "Joint Homecoming" with Social Security Agency for Employment which was held simultaneously in Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, Cikarang, Karawang and Purwakarta with a total of 10,000 homecoming participants with the destination of Central Java, East Java and Lampung. In order to provide equality to persons with disabilities, in April 2018, the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program provided assistance to 526 persons with disabilities in the form of business training, business aids and mobility aids. This activity was given in an event entitled "Gebyar Disabilitas" which was held in Surakarta, Central Java.

    In order to respond quickly to disasters in Indonesia, the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program provides assistance to victims of natural disasters, such as the Earthquake Disaster in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, the Tsunami Disaster in Palu Donggala and other natural disasters. On another occasion, the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program held Cheap Markets simultaneously in 164 cities which was held 2 times, namely before Eid al-Fitr and in commemoration of the 41st Anniversary of Social Security Agency for Employment.

    As a form of providing environmentally-friendly and child-friendly Employment Social Security educational media, at the end of 2018, the construction of 2 Social Security Agency for Employment Green Open Spaces has begun at Central Point Of Indonesia, Makassar and the Kebo Iwa Gianyar Sports Building, Bali. The two Social Security Agency for Employment Green Open Spaces are a reflection of the four Social Security Agency for Employment programs.

    Overall, in 2018, the 4 Pillars of Social and Environmental Responsibility have been implemented with a percentage of 42% for Sustainability Bridge, 39% for Concern Bridge, 11% Community Bridge, and 6% for Empowerment Bridge.
