How to Disburse JHT Balance

JHT Claim Document is an administrative requirement to be attached when submitting a claim of security benefits. These documents are in the form of photocopies by showing the original ones.

The following list contains additional information related to claim documents in accordance with the applicable provisions, namely:

  • 1 Resignation / Termination of Employment
  • 2Retirement Age
  • 3 Permanent Total Disability
  • 4 Leaving the territory of the Republic of Indonesia forever (Indonesian citizens)
  • 5 Leaving the territory of the Republic of Indonesia forever (foreigners)
  • 6Partial Claim of 10%
  • 7Partial Claim of 30% for Housing

In the case of Termination of Employment (PHK), it is defined as follows:

a a worker who is terminated through the determination of an industrial relations complaint

b a worker who is terminated due to a bipartite termination of employment or an employment contract

c a worker who is terminated due to legal problems or criminal acts

The following is additional information related to the Claim Submission Method, namely:

JHT Claim Online JHT Claim at Branch Office Priority Claim Collaborating Banks (SPO)

RESIGNATION / TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT

Participants with the status of not actively working anywhere can apply for claim benefits by attaching the following documents:

  • 1BPJAMSOSTEK Participant Card
  • 2E - KTP
  • 3Savings Book
  • 4Family Card
  • 5Work Reference Certificate, Certificate of Employment, Work Agreement, or a Decision of the Industrial Relations Court (PHI)
  • 6TIN (if any)
  • RETIREMENT AGE

    Participants who have reached retirement age, whether they are still actively working or not, can submit a claim by attaching the following documents:

  • 1BPJAMSOSTEK Participation Card
  • 2E - KTP
  • 3Saving book
  • 4Family card
  • 5Retirement Certificate
  • 6TIN (if any)
  • PERMANENT TOTAL DISABLED

  • 1BPJAMSOSTEK Participant Card
  • 2E - KTP
  • 3Savings Book
  • 4Family Card
  • 5Medical Certificate of Permanent Total Disability from the Doctor who treats the participant or Advisory Doctor
  • 6Work Reference Certificate
  • 7NPWP (if any)
  • LEAVING THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA (INDONESIAN CITIZENS)

    Participants who are foreign nationals working in Indonesia can submit a claim for security benefits if they are registered as BPJAMSOSTEK participants, by attaching the following documents:

  • 1BPJAMSOSTEK Participant Card
  • 2Valid passport
  • 3Temporary Stay Permit Card (KITAS)
  • 4Savings Book
  • 5 Stamped duty Statement Letter stating that the participant will not return to Indonesia and change his/her citizenship
  • 6 Certificate of Change of Citizenship or Proof of Change of Citizenship
  • 7 Work Reference Certificate or Employment Contract.
  • 8 TIN (if any)
  • LEAVING THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA (FOREIGN CITIZENS)

    Participants who are foreign nationals working in Indonesia can submit a claim for security benefits if they are registered as BPJAMSOSTEK participants, by attaching the following documents:

  • 1BPJAMSOSTEK Participant Card
  • 2Valid passport
  • 3Temporary Stay Permit Card (KITAS)
  • 4Savings Book
  • 5Statement letter stating that he/she is no longer working in Indonesia
  • 6 Work Reference Certificate or Employment Contract.
  • 7 TIN (if any)
  • PARTIAL CLAIMS OF 10%

    Workers who have been participants for a minimum of 10 years can claim a partial benefit of 10%, by attaching the following documents:

  • 1BPJAMSOSTEK Participant Card
  • 2E-KTP
  • 3Family Card
  • 4Savings Book
  • 5Certificate stating that he/she is still actively working from the company or work reference certificate
  • 6TIN (if any)
  • Notes:
    Partial withdrawal of JHT has the potential to result in the imposition of a progressive tax on the next withdrawal of JHT if the withdrawal interval is more than 2 years

    PARTIAL CLAIM OF 30%

    Workers who have been participants for a minimum of ten 10 years can claim a 30% partial benefit for a down payment on housing purchases, by attaching the following documents:

  • 1BPJAMSOSTEK Participant Card
  • 2E - KTP
  • 3Family Card
  • 4Certificate stating that he/she is still actively working from the company or work reference certificate
  • 5Banking documents (depending on the designation and obtained from the collaborating Bank)
  • 6Savings Book of the collaborating Bank for the payment of JHT of 30% (thirty percent) for home ownership.
  • 7TIN (if any)
  • Notes:
    Partial withdrawal of JHT has the potential to result in the imposition of a progressive tax on the next withdrawal of JHT if the withdrawal interval is more than 2 years

    JHT Claim Online

    Submission of a claim through this method can be done by accessing the portal asik.bpjsketenagakerjaan.go.id. The criteria for participants who can apply through this method include:

  • 1Reaching Retirement Age
  • 2Resignation
  • 3Termination of Employment (PHK)
  • Procedure for Online Application Registration:

  • aVisit the Service Portal lapakasik.bpjsketenagakerjaan.go.id
  • bFill in the Initial Data, namely National Identity Number, Full Name, & Participation Number
  • cThe system will automatically verify the data regarding the eligibility of the claim.
  • dAfter Verification, Participants will be directed to complete the data according to the instructions displayed on the portal.
  • eUpload the Required Documents.
  • fParticipants who have successfully completed the process will receive a notification containing information about Schedule & Branch Offices.
  • gParticipants will be contacted via video call for the interview process according to the schedule on the notification (prepare original documents).
  • hThe process is complete and the benefits will be disbursed through the attached account.
  • JHT Claim at Branch Office

    Submission of a claim through this method can be done by accessing web-based or non-web-based electronic media at the Branch Office. The criteria for participants who can apply through this method include:

  • 1Reaching Retirement Age
  • 2Resignation
  • 3Termination of Employment (PHK)
  • 4Participation for a minimum of 10 years for partial claims (10% or 30%)
  • 5Leaving the territory of the Republic of Indonesia forever
  • 6Permanent total disability
  • Procedure for Submission of JHT Claims at Branch Offices:

  • aScan the QR Code available at the Branch Office
  • bFill in the Initial Data, namely National Identity Number, Full Name, & Participation Number
  • cThe system will automatically verify the data regarding the eligibility of the claim.
  • dAfter Verification, Participants will be directed to complete the data according to the instructions displayed on the portal.
  • eUpload the Required Documents.
  • fThe Participan shows a notification to the Branch Office officer to get a queue number.
  • gThe follow-up process will be carried out at the Branch Office until the interview process is complete.
  • hThe benefits will be disbursed through the attached account.
  • PRIORITY CLAIM

    This Submission of Claims is intended for participants with certain conditions and they can submit claims directly to the BPJAMSOSTEK Branch Office through a special queue. The specific participant criteria, including:

  • 1Pregnant women
  • 2Seniors
  • 3Unhealthy (sick)
  • Procedure for submission through Priority Claims:

  • 1Participants visit the branch office according to the service operating hours from 08.00 -15.30 on business days (except holidays or other conditions).
  • 2Prepare a photocopy of the required documents by showing the original ones.
  • 3Tell the staff about your condition so that you are invited to take a special queue.
  • 4The officer will carry out the file verification and interview process.
  • 5The application process is complete and the benefits will be disbursed through the attached account.
  • COLLABORATING BANKS (SPO)

    Submission of claims through this method can be done by visiting the nearest Branch Offices or Collaboration Banks. The criteria for special participants who apply through the cooperation bank are, among others:

  • 1Reaching retirement age
  • 2Resignation
  • 3Termination of Employment (PHK)
  • Procedure for Submission through Collaborating Banks (SPO):

  • 1Visit the collaborating bank according to the service operating hours from 08.00 -15.30 on business days or Bank operating hours (except holidays or other conditions).
  • 2Prepare a photocopy of the required documents by showing the original ones.
  • 3The officer will carry out the file verification and interview process.
  • 4The application process is complete and the benefits will be disbursed through the attached account.
